I love words! I am rarely at a loss for something to say, I can have a conversation with a stop sign, am addicted to any word game "with friends", and get a weird satisfaction from finding just the right way to articulate something for myself or others. But a blog? About Olives? I'm not quite sure how to do that!

I certainly have a lot to talk about; just ask my children who are tortured having to spend endless kid moments waiting while I chat with (insert name of friend or neighbor) on the phone or at the (Insert ANY location). And I hear repeatedly how a blog is crucial to building a small business like mine, yet I am, at present, a little unclear as to how to tie it all in to my doodles and cards.

So, I guess I will just give it a shot, and see where it all leads. I'll try to use this to share what's new, what I'm planning, what's inspiring me. I can't promise I won't detour into things that are entirely irrelevant to stationery. I mean, sometimes you just have to talk about the things that makes you go "hmmmm", but the challenge will be to find a way to bring it back to something vaguely Olives-related. Challenge accepted!
